Agni Tea:

Agni Tea is a simple, warming beverage that helps to stimulate your digestive capacity, increase metabolism and burn toxins. Ideal for vata and kapha. Pitta can enjoy occasionally.

Ingredients:

  • 1 quart water

  • 2 T grated or minced Ginger Root

  • 1 tiny pinch of Cayenne powder

  • 1/4 tsp of Rock Salt

  • 1 tsp honey (do not boil) or sucanat

  • Lime juice from 1/4 fresh lime (about 1 tsp – do not boil)

Preparation:

  1. Bring all of the ingredients except honey and lime to boil in a pot.

  2. Strain and add the honey, and juice of 1⁄2 lime.

  3. Sip throughout the day, or especially before meals to encourage better digestion.

Tri-Dosha Digestive Tea: 

A cooling tea to improve digestion and burn toxins. All types can enjoy.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Tbsp Cumin seeds, whole, 1 Tbsp Coriander seeds, whole, 1 Tbsp Fennel seeds, whole

  • 2 cups water

Preparation: Place all ingredients together in a small pot. Simmer over medium low heat for 5 minutes. Strain and sip after meals.
